Daysha Ferrer Torres, PhD

Postdoctoral Fellow

Daysha Ferrer-Torres earned her PhD at the University of Michigan in 2017. Her previous research focused on molecular characterization of esophageal adenocarcinomas and racial disparities. Her current work will be developing models to study tissue injury and develop preventive strategies for esophageal cancer. Her postdoc fellowship is in the Department of Internal Medicine through the School of Medicine.
