Biography
Dr. Maturen was raised in west Michigan and graduated from U of M medical school. She completed her Diagnostic Radiology residency training and served as a chief resident at the U of M. She pursued fellowship training in Body Imaging at Stanford and worked there as a clinical instructor before joining the U of M faculty in 2010. She served as the Abdominal Radiology fellowship program director for seven years and Abdominal Radiology Division Director for two years before taking on her current role as Associate Chair for Ambulatory Care and Strategy. She has published numerous peer-reviewed papers and received funding for research in gynecologic imaging and patient centered outcomes assessment in colorectal and gynecologic cancers. She is involved in multiple national organizations and currently serves as a Trustee for Abdominal Imaging for the American Board of Radiology and member of the Board of Directors for the Society of Abdominal Radiology.
