Biography

Dr. Khaja completed his residency and fellowship training in the VIR Clinical Training Pathway at the University of Virginia. At UVA, he was actively involved in the care of vascular patients with his vascular surgery and cardiology colleagues as well as the inpatient and ED consultation service, in a collaborative environment and intends to continue this practice at the Univeristy of Michigan.

Dr. Khaja’s research primarily focuses on the endovascular management of aortic disease, specifically aortic dissection, aneurysms, and endoleaks; vascular complications of solid organ transplantation and endovascular management; and non-invasive imaging, angiographic correlation,and endovascular management of upper extremity arterial disease.

Dr. Khaja has unique experience and brings an understanding of the business of medicine. He completed a five-year MD/ MBA joint degree program at the Indiana University School of Medicine and the Indiana University Kelley School of Business.
