Michigan Medicine Team Separates Conjoined Twins at C.S. Mott Children's Hospital

One-year-old sisters born attached at the chest and abdomen recently underwent a complex 11-hour surgery involving more than two dozen specialists and the aid of 3D printed models. Many people from the Radiology Department were involved. CT and MRI techs, nurses, clerk and other were help helpful with the case. Dr. Maria Ladino-Torres led the imaging, and Dr. William Weadock led the 3D printing. Robyn Wright performed the image segmentation for the 3D printed models. Departmental administrators Jason Battaglia and Dana Habers provided much-needed support.
