Biography

Dr. Cohan is a graduate of Harvard College and New York University Medical School. He completed a fellowship in Angiography / Interventional Radiology and Abdominal Imaging at Duke University, where he stayed on as faculty for five more years. He moved to the University of Michigan in 1992 and has worked at Michigan since that time. He was the Program Director for the Residency Training Program from 1992 until 2004 and is currently an Associate Chair. He has served on the American College of Radiology Committee on Drugs and Contrast Media and Chaired that Committee for six years. He has authored or coauthored many papers dealing with radiographic contrast material and a variety of aspects of genitourinary imaging, has written many book chapters, has edited two textbooks, and has lectured at many national and international meetings.
