SESSION OVERVIEW:
The Department of Surgery’s mission is to recruit and maintain a vibrant and diverse faculty through the establishment and use of standardized recruitment practices. This session will cover best practices for faculty recruitment and the standard recruitment practice developed by the Department of Surgery. Session topics include the benefits of diverse recruitment strategies, building high performing teams in academic surgery, minimizing the influences of implicit bias during the recruitment process, attribute based interview questions, and subjective evaluations and assessment.

This event is for faculty enrolled in the Leadership Development program and is not open to the public.
