Heng Lin, PhD

Research Investigator, Surgery

Biography

Dr. Lin received her Bachelor from Tongji Medical School and PhD from the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences & Peking Union Medical College in China. She received her postdoctoral training at the University of Michigan for Immunology Research ending in 2020.

Dr. Lin’s research interest is on the mechanisms involved in immune therapeutic resistance and the crosstalk between tumor cells and the host immune system. By working in Weiping Zou’s lab, she engaged in projects delineated PD-L1 expressing dendritic cells and macrophages shape and therapeutically predict the clinical efficacy of PD-L1/PD-1 blockade. Dr. Lin's current research focuses on exploring novel molecular factor that affect phagocytosis and antigen presentation in tumor microenvironment.
