Dr. Katie Anderson is from the 'Land of 10,000 Lakes," otherwise known as Minnesota. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Minnesota with dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Chemistry and Business. She obtained her Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry. During her studies Dr. Anderson completed three year-long research fellowships ranging in topics from cariology to public health dentistry. In dental school she was President of the University's American Academy of Developmental Medicine and Dentistry (AADMD) chapter- an organization committed to providing care to people with neurodevelopmental disorders and intellectual disabilities. Dr. Anderson is passionate about identifying and eliminating barriers to care and fostering clinical practices that best serve patients with disabilities. Her professional interests include special care dentistry, hospital dentistry, and oral surgery. In her free time, Dr. Anderson enjoys yoga, football Sundays and experimenting in the kitchen.
