“At the Section of Plastic Surgery, we have an incredible group of highly successful individuals who have come together to create a tight-knit family. We support each other, help each other, and encourage each other to make a difference in the lives of our patients and in the future of our specialty.”
— Dr. Paul Cederna, M.D., Section Chief, Plastic Surgery
We’re one of the oldest plastic surgery programs in the country, started in 1946, and then evolving into the Section of Plastic Surgery in 1968.
What remains unchanged is our commitment to the tripartite mission of academic medicine: to provide the best clinical care; to provide the finest education to new surgeons; and to advance the field of plastic surgery through research and innovation.
