2020-2021 Application Cycle

COVID-19 has created an unprecedented residency application cycle. With the use of virtual online sessions, we are committed to providing applicants with information about our residency training program while ensuring everyone’s health and safety.

Please refer to the American Council of Academic Plastic Surgeons website for the latest information regarding the application cycle and helpful guidelines.

The Michigan Medicine Plastic Surgery Residency Training Program is a participant in the Electronic Residency Application Service [ERAS]. Please refer to the ERAS website to complete your application for our program. The deadline for accepting applications is listed in ERAS and is typically in October. 

The following information should be submitted through ERAS for our program: 

  • ERAS application form
  • Medical school transcript
  • Minimum of 3 letters of recommendation (Ideally, one or more letters from plastic surgeons)

Interviews are typically held in December and January.
