Vascular Surgery Graduation

Congrats! Class of 2020

Congrats Class of 2020!

You did it!

You trained tirelessly to refine your skills, make an impact on the patients you cared for, and find your passion for the specialities that you’re pursuing.

You did all of this while a pandemic pressed you into service that wasn’t in the plan and overturned our world.

Your experiences at Michigan Medicine prepared you to adapt to change, and we’re confident that you’ll handle whatever the future throws at you with grace, professionalism, and skill.

First and foremost, I just want to say thank you for the privilege of being a part of your journey at the University of Michigan within our Department of Surgery. I'm just so sorry that we can't celebrate all of you the way we normally do.This is such an amazing time to reflect on who you are as individuals and highlight for everybody and your families what an amazing job you've done over the years.

Please know that we're so proud and you've got a forever family here at Michigan Surgery. We'll be here always to support you and go forever blue. We're so proud!

Dawn M. Coleman, MD, Integrated Vascular Surgery Residency & Fellowship Program Director
