The second session of the Resident Development Program on 10/25/18 introduced two frameworks of leadership theory. We believe that these frameworks, or mental models, are a valuable way to learn leadership concepts that can be applied in practice.
The Michigan Promise supports the Faculty Launch Program, a three-year, team-based program providing individualized mentorship to early-career faculty members. Dr. Andrea Obi reflects on the successes and challenges of her transition from a fellow to a faculty member during her time in the program.
