  • We will serve as resources for patients, colleagues and referring providers

  • Through our surgical practice, our management in clinics and in the hospital, and our didactic teaching, we will ensure the proficiency of residents and fellows in all aspects of endourology and laparoscopy
  • We will contribute to medical student education and education of community physicians

  • We will excel at wide-based research into medical and surgical management of stone disease and other Endourologic conditions
  • We will be active in
    • clinical trials
    • basic/translational science
    • population-based research

  • We aspire to be involved at the regional, national, and international levels
  • We intend to improve the practice of endourology by working towards meaningful improvement in quality of care, including development and implementation of quality endourology metrics, measures enacted in response to internal adverse events, and response to perceived suboptimal care beyond our institution
