Nancy Rodriguez-Galano began her nursing career in 1988 in upstate New York after completing her undergraduate studies at Binghamton University. Her registered nurse experience consists of a wide variety of medical/surgical specialties including general surgery, high-risk obstetrics and home care. In 1994, Ms. Rodriguez-Galano relocated to Ann Arbor and joined the nursing staff at the University of Michigan. She completed her graduate studies at the University of Michigan School of Nursing in 1998 and holds certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. Ms. Rodriguez-Galano joined the Department of Urology in 1998 where she works primarily in The Prostate Cancer Survivorship Program providing comprehensive care after surgical treatment of prostate cancer. She follows patients for prostate cancer and renal mass active surveillance as well as provides cancer surveillance after surgical treatment of kidney and bladder cancers.
