Nancy began her nursing career at Michigan Medicine in 1989. She spent the first 15 years of her career working in the nursing float pool at University Hospital caring for adult patients. During this time, Nancy worked on 13 different medical and surgical specialty units. She joined the Urology Department in 2008 working in the adult clinic and obtained her certification in urology nursing (CURN) in 2009. Nancy joined the pediatric urology nursing team as a clinical care coordinator in 2014. Nancy provides on-site nursing care and education for pediatric urology patients & families at CS Mott Children’s Hospital in Ann Arbor. She also provides complex care coordination by phone and through the UM Patient Portal for pediatric urology patients followed at our other locations.

Nancy assists physicians with pre- and post-operative teaching, medication and supply counseling to perform diagnostic testing and provides support to short-term and long-term patients.
