U-M Urology featured in University of Michigan Health System Annual Report

The report highlights Urology's work on the Mi-Prostate Score, also known as MiPS, which serves as a prostate cancer detection test.

The test surpasses the effectiveness of more traditional tests for prostate cancer by looking at prostate cancer biomarkers found in urine.

The report states "development of the Mi-Prostate Score is part of broader efforts at U-M to improve prostate cancer diagnosis, particularly in detecting the type of cancer that requires immediate and aggressive treatment."
