The Urologic Oncology Division of the U-M Department of Urology is at the forefront of advancing innovative and collaborative explorations in the field of prostate cancer research. This is accomplished thanks to a broad range of research laboratories and grant funding.
As a part of the renowned the U-M Comprehensive Cancer Center, the Urologic Oncology team has a wide range of resources at its disposal to foster class-leading research. This is highlighted by a $6.5 million Specialized Program of Research Excellence grant in prostate cancer, a George M. O'Brien Urology Research Center grant, a PO1 in prostate cancer metastasis to bone, two T32 Urology Training Grants and much more.
