Rod attended graduate school at the School of Public Health of the University of Michigan, where he earned his Master’s Degree in Biostatistics with a cognate in Epidemiology.
With over 25 years of experience in the urology field, his primary research focus has been on prostate and other urologic cancers, with an emphasis on health services research, quality of life, and study design. Rod has authored over 250 original publications and textbook chapters. In addition, he has given presentations advocating for the improvement of reproducibility in scientific publications.
