Trudy earned her nursing degree at Washtenaw Community College, and graduated with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Ohio University. She worked in the ICU at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit for many years before moving to The University of Michigan Health System in 2014. After working a few years in the Cardiac Cath lab, she made the move to the Urology Clinic. Currently she works as a Clinical Care Coordinator for the Endourology division. This rewarding role allows her to get to know her patients better by providing them with various education, including pre-op, intra-op and post-op education to make sure they are well prepared, and have the knowledge and understanding they need going into their surgery.
