Arrive in Ann Arbor by 5 p.m. on Wednesday evening in time for an optional casual dinner with current MSTP students.
Morning: Arrive at Taubman Health Sciences Library by 8 a.m. Applicants gather for an introduction to our MSTP, followed by interviews with research faculty and admissions team members. Each applicant typically has six interviews, which include three faculty researchers, two members of our Operating Committee and Dr. Ron Koenig, MSTP Director.
Noon: Join current MSTP students for an informal lunch.
Afternoon: Continue interviews until complete.
Evening: Walking tour followed by a group dinner with current MSTP students and fellow applicants. We encourage MSTP students to candidly answer questions from applicants, so feel free to ask whatever you want to know.
Arrive at the Medical School by 7:45 am and follow the 24 Hours in Blue schedule. Approximately half of the MSTP applicants will have an interview following the Admissions wrap up. Most applicants are completed with all interviews by 4:00-4:30 p.m. Transportation to Detroit Metro can take longer during rush hour, so we recommend scheduling your departing flight at 6:00 p.m. or later.
