Our M-Home learning community gives students a base of support throughout all four years of training, from small group interactions with peers from all classes to individual coaching from faculty mentors.
At $1.62 billion, the University of Michigan is the #1 U.S. public university in research volume, with more than one third coming from the Medical School’s $557 million in expenditures. The School's robust research enterprise places us among the top ten schools in NIH funding.
Nearly 60% of our students receive some type of gift aid (scholarships and/or grants), totaling over $14 million each year.

Mission Driven
Our mission is to cultivate a learning community that engages all in bold and innovative education for the advancement of science, health and health care delivery. We seek those who are ready to join us and make a difference. Learn more about how to apply.

Meet Our Students
Our med students are smart, caring people who add up to more than just test scores, which is why we take great care in selecting the people who make up each class. We strive to maintain a 50/50 split between in-state and out-of-state residents so students can expect to rub shoulders with peers from all walks of life and, through these interactions, learn how to better relate with their future patients.
