9:30-10 a.m. Welcome and Introduction to SLW

10 a.m.-Noon Introduction to the Michigan Curriculum: A detailed overview of the UMMS curriculum from Michelle M. Daniel, M.D., Assistant Dean for Curriculum

Hear personal experiences from current medical students about the curriculum. Learn about the Branches from faculty, staff and M4s. There will be time for questions and answers, so check out the curriculum website - as well as the recent TedMed talk by Dr. Mangrulkar - to get up to speed.

Noon-1 p.m. Lunch - Get to know your future classmates!

1-4 p.m. M1 Year and beyond: Experience a taste of M1 year by taking part in a patient presentation and small group activity with Doctoring, Chief Concern, Ethics and OPCC faculty

7-9 p.m. Strolling dinner sponsored by our medical students in their apartments. This is also a great time to check out some of the places you could consider living next year.

9 p.m. Explore the Ann Arbor nightlife with current medical students and future classmates

Saturday, April 22

Casual dress - see FAQs

9-11 a.m. Housing Tour (optional) - explore the White Coat area and/or board a bus to see Kerrytown, Phi Chi, Phi Rho and Munger Graduate housing

10:45 a.m. Buses to brunch leave from White Coat area

11 a.m.-2 p.m. Brunch with alumni, faculty and students, and the official closing of Second Look Weekend
