Postdoctoral Ombuds for Dispute Resolution

The Postdoctoral Ombuds is a confidential, impartial, informal and independent resource for information or dispute management that serves postdoctoral fellows at the University of Michigan. The Ombuds provides an environment where postdocs can obtain information, review options and resolve problems. The Ombuds is not compelled to report the details of your conversation at any time.

U-M Medical School Dispute Resolution Officer

The UMMS Dispute Resolution Officer oversees the mediation of disputes or disagreements regarding equity and fair treatment that may have an impact on evaluation or research activities for graduate students and postdoctoral fellows at the Medical School. The Officer is impartial and conversations with herare confidential. She can provide guidance and initiate mediation to handle disputes.

The Sexual Assault Prevention and Awareness Center promotes healthy relationships, teaches non-violence and equality, supports survivor healing, and fosters a respectful and safe environment for all members of the University of Michigan community. SAPAC provides educational and supportive services for the University of Michigan community related to sexual assault, intimate partner violence, sexual harassment, and stalking.
