I attended Oakland University where I received my BS in cellular and molecular biology. During my undergraduate studies, I began volunteering in Dr. Madlambayan's lab working on discovering biomarkers for Acute Myeloid Leukemia. During this work, I discovered a love for science and a passion for lab work. After graduating in 2021, I began my PhD studies at the University of Michigan. In early 2022 I joined Dr. Meredith Morgan's lab and began my thesis work. Our lab is focused on developing and understanding mechanisms that will sensitize pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma tumors to radiation and/or immunotherapy. My current work involves the use of PARP inhibitors to improve treatment efficacy.
