Aerospace Medicine Student and Resident Organization (AMSRO)

The Aerospace Medicine Student and Resident Organization promotes understanding of the unique medical challenges associated with spaceflight, aviation, and other extreme environments.

We connect students with aerospace medicine research opportunities and foster future leaders in the field who will advance the frontiers of human capabilities. We collaborate closely with similar interest groups at other medical schools in the Midwest and Northeast region to provide students with lecture series/talks, online seminars with experts in the field, journal clubs, workshops, online electives, career exploration, mentorship, and more. As part of this chapter/interest group, students will also be in direct connection with the global aerospace medicine community and other students/residents with similar interests. Students will be able to interface with our parent affiliate, the Aerospace Medical Association (AsMA), to potentially connect with educational, scholarship, research, and conference opportunities in this exciting field.
