Auxocardia is both a literary and visual arts journal for healthcare providers that publishes multiple times a year and is a place for students and future providers to share in the process of becoming.

Our group is a place for the heart growing, the heart-breaking, or literal questions about the heart. Auxocardia shares the triumphs, trials, and tribulations of medical, social work, midwifery, nursing, dentistry and PA school. It seeks to recognize the immense privilege of working in the healing professions, honoring the patients we serve, and recognizing the teachers who shape us, while also offering an honest take on the challenge of becoming a healthcare provider.
