MiHealth empowers teams of medical students to serve as health instructors in high school classrooms teaching relevant, evidence-based health information through authentic dialogue, realistic approaches, and engaging learning activities.

MiHealth goals include: improving health literacy, building skills, sharing resources and tools, and influencing risk reduction attitudes and goals. We cover topics such as mental health, tobacco and marijuana, healthy relationships, sexual health, nutrition, and exercise. Medical students may be involved through instruction, lesson planning, and/or leadership.
