Clinical Simulation Research Grants Awarded for 2017-18

Four projects were selected to advance simulation-based research. The projects represent a broad range of clinical specialties and are intended to improve patient outcomes and care at Michigan Medicine and beyond.

“Development of a Curriculum for Teaching Needle Cricothyroidotomy Skills for Pediatric Patients using a 3D Printed Tracheal Model”

“Validation of a simulation model for laparoscopic colpotomy”

“Trauma Team Training: A Simulation-Based Teamwork Training Program to Improve Communication and Leadership in Trauma Resuscitation”
