2016 Adult Overall Operations Mortality for U-M Cardiac Surgery

The average operative mortality for all cardiac surgery cases over the last 5 years was 2.8%. In 2016, the operative mortality for all cases was 2.5%.

 The Section of Adult Cardiac Surgery performed 1,404 Adult Cardiac operations in 2016.
