Biography
Dr. Rasheed, while originally from Troy, Michigan, received his medical degree from the West
Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisurg, West Virginia and then completed his
residency in Internal Medicine through the Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Clinton Township,
Michigan. He is interested in improving the quality of care delivered to elderly patients, as well as
exploring how religion and culture intersect with medical care among elderly patients.
