I do basic research in HIV/AIDS and in my lab have worked with trainees from Brazil, Nigeria, Cameroon, Rwanda, Iran, Belarus, Ethiopia and Ghana to help ensure scientists from disease endemic nations are well represented among future leaders in infectious disease research.
