Engineering strategies for improving cancer immunotherapy

7:00 AM

Virtual-Zoom

Part of an ongoing seminar series focused on cancer collaborations through the Michigan Medicine-Peking University Health Science Center Joint Institute

The next session in the Joint Institute’s Cancer Program Seminar Series will explore the intersection of immunology and engineering.

Join J.G. Searle Professor James Moon, PhD, as he overviews his research on new approaches for modulating the gut microbiome and improving anti-tumor immunity. His research on immunoengineering employs nanotechnology, biomaterials, and other tools to detect and improve immune functions.

Dr. Moon’s talk will followed by a discussion featuring both Michigan Medicine and PKUHSC experts.
