In February, the Taubman Health Science Library kicks off a Global Health Webinar Series with an overview of health data resources focused on Africa. Becoming familiar with African regional and country-specific health data is important to understanding social, economic, and political issues on the continent.
In this introductory session, participants will focus on sources of public health data related to and reported by international, national, regional and country-level organizations. Exploration of data sources that show impact on African health outcomes such as the Sustainable Development Goals Indicators and the Global Burden of Disease Study will be included.
