Dr. Petroze focuses on access to surgical care and surgical outcomes in LMICs. Her recent research focuses on neonatal surgical outcomes, hospital-acquired infections, and pediatric surgical oncology in low-resource settings. She also focuses on collaborative education development at the medical student and faculty levels.
