Dr. Ali-Fehmi is the immediate past-president of NAAMA (National Arab American Medical Association) and the founder and current chair of NAAMA NextGen, which supports Arab American healthcare students in the US. Her global health partnerships have focused primarily on bi-directional training for pre-medical and medical students as well as doctors in training. She is also active in advocating for public health issues impacting refugee populations. Dr. Ali-Fehmi has many longstanding international partnerships, most notably with collaborators at the American University of Beirut; Amel, a healthcare NGO in Lebanon; and King Hussein University, in Jordan.
