Dr. Rainey's projects focus on adrenal cortical diseases that cause hypertension and cardiovascular diseases. His lab is studying the impact of sex and race on the genetic causes on adrenal diseases with expanding collaborations in East Asia (South Korea and Taiwan) and Africa (South Africa).
