Biography

Dr. Alsup completed her Ph.D. in Biological Anthropology from the University of Tennessee in 2012, and has held various appointments at the University of Tennessee and Colorado State University, Pueblo. Her research interests include human anatomy education, multimedia and technology in education, human anatomical variation, human anatomical collections, curating methods and techniques, geometric morphometrics, and biological and forensic anthropology. 

Dr. Alsup is co-PI on BlueLink, a novel approach to contextualizing basic science, preclinical, and clinical concepts of anatomy via adaptive multimedia. Current interests include collections curation and management, and multimedia development and production. Dr. Alsup co-directs First Year (M1) Medical Anatomy, First Year (M1) Musculoskeletal Sequence, and DENT 545 Head & Neck Anatomy.
