PIBS 1st-Year Rotating PhD Student

I graduated from Purdue University in May 2020 with my Bachelor’s of Science in Chemistry. My hobbies include cooking, binge watching TV with my fiancé, and hanging out my best friend.

Research Interests

At Purdue, I was a part of Dr. Zhong-Yon Zhang’s Lab which studies Protein Tyrosine Phosphatases (PTPs). During my time in Dr. Zhang’s lab, I worked on projects surrounding Phosphatases of Regenerating Liver (PRLs). I was also a part of the CPRIT-CURE program at MD Anderson where I studied invadopodia and the protein TAOK3. I am currently interested in the metastatic process and tumor microenvironment, and hope to join a lab with a focus in these topics.

Techniques Used
