Rachael graduated from DePauw University in 2023 with a B.A. in Cellular and Molecular Biology and minors in Hispanic Studies and Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. At DePauw University, Rachael studied novel organic compounds as treatment for triple negative breast cancer. In 2022, Rachael was in the Cancer Research Summer Internship Program in Dr. Costas Lyssiotis' lab and studied cysteine dependency in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma. In her free time, Rachael enjoys singing in GradTONES, a graduate student a cappella group, as well as unwinding with yoga and crafts.

Rachael is interested in studying the effects of Kras inhibitors on the tumor microenvironment of non-small cell lung cancer.
