Understanding the biomarkers and mechanisms of diabetic complications
Dr. Eid's is focused on basic, translational, and clinical research in the field of diabetes and diabetic complications, particularly neuropathy and nephropathy. His work explores the underlying pathological pathways for these disorders through metabolic alterations, genetic predisposition, and epigenetic influence, to identify novel therapeutic targets.
