Biography

Nicolas Glynos is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow in the Chronic Pain and Fatigue Research Center at the University of Michigan. He obtained a Ph.D. in Molecular & Integrative Physiology from Michigan in 2023 where he investigated the neural correlates and biosynthesis of the endogenous psychedelic N,N-dimethyltryptamine (DMT). He has held a leadership role for the Student Association for Psychedelic Studies since 2019, and his current research is investigating naturalistic use of psychedelics and their potential application to treat a variety of mental and physical health conditions. He is also a ceramic artist and enjoys making pottery in his spare time.
