Christine, mentored by Peter Freddolino, Ph.D., successfully defended her doctoral thesis "Mechanisms of nutrient sensing and gene regulation by the E. coli Leucine-responsive Regulatory Protein, a global feast-famine transcriptional regulator" on June 29, 2022. Later this year Christine will move to Boston, where she plans to study marine photosynthetic bacteria as a postdoctoral associate in the laboratory of Dr. Sallie Chisholm at MIT. Congratulations Christine!
