Areas of Interest
I am an MCDB student in the Nandakumar lab. I work on telomerase, telomeres, and the shelterin protein complex that caps the ends of our chromosomes. Specifically, I am looking at how the shelterin protein TPP1 recruits telomerase to chromosome ends as well as how shelterin assembles and functions at telomeres.
