Biography

Luis graduated from Case Western Reserve university with a BA in Biochemistry. At CWRU, he worked in the lab of Alex Huang studying the role of mechosensitive ion channels in T-cell function.

Research Interests

Luis is interested in understanding how epigenetic modifiers regulate CD4+ and CD8+ T-cell differentiation. Specifically, focusing on how DNA methylation mediates transcriptional programs and maintenance of those cells.
