Areas of Interest

I study the role of FICD-mediated AMPylation in maintaining cellular proteostasis and longevity using cell culture and C. elegans model systems.  I also use mouse models to study the in vivo role for the heat shock protein family of molecular chaperone proteins in the development and progression of protein aggregation diseases, including Alzheimer’s Disease.
