Biography
Dr. Kim obtained her Ph.D. from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology and received her postdoctoral training at the University of California, San Diego under Dr. William McGinnis. Currently, Dr. Kim is a research associate professor at the Department of Molecular and Integrative Physiology at the University of Michigan.
Areas of Interest
(1) Autophagy dysregulation in diseases and human pathologies.
(2) Exercise-induced adaptive mechanisms in skeletal muscle.
(3) Spatial transcriptomic understanding of skeletal and cardiac muscle histology.
