Welcome to the Department of Molecular & Integrative Physiology. We were one of the first physiology departments in the USA, founded in 1882, and have nurtured generations of physiologists through our research, mentoring, education, and service programs. Our faculty are leaders, evidenced by our ranking as the #1 physiology department for NIH research dollars. In addition, our academic programs for undergraduate and graduate students (PhD and MS) and postdoctoral fellows offer unmatched research training, mentoring and career development.
