Why did you choose Michigan's residency program? Along with a robust PGY1 program and breadth of learning experiences, the strength of PGY2 programs was especially a draw for me.

Advice for future residents: Learn how to communicate on all levels- this includes patients, fellow residents, and preceptors. Part of that will be learning to say 'I don't know' and committing yourself to researching the gaps in knowledge you will inevitably have!
