Why did you choose Michigan's residency program? When I was applying to residency programs, I knew that I wanted to go to a large academic medical center with a variety of rotation options but ultimately, it was the amazing preceptors that made me decide to stay at Michigan. The research, teaching and precepting opportunities Michigan offers residents played a significant role in my decision. I also wanted a program that had a larger resident class as I wanted a large support system to bond with throughout the year.
