Visible blood vessels near the skin's surface may appear as tiny threadlike lines known as spider veins (telangiectasia) or as small bright red spots called angiomas.
In the Cosmetic Dermatology & Laser Center (CDLC), we have a variety of lasers that are highly effective in minimizing these prominent vessels, whether they are the result of chronic sun damage, rosacea, or other causes. Spider veins that occur on the legs may be treated with laser therapy in some cases, but are also often treated with an injection technique called sclerotherapy.
